Mulu Code Desktop runs on Windows 10+, macOS 12+, and most modern Linux distributions (Ubuntu 20.04+, Fedora 36+, Debian 11+). We provide native installers for each platform — NSIS for Windows, DMG for macOS, and AppImage for Linux.
Yes. You can browse, edit, and preview your projects completely offline. AI features require an internet connection since model inference runs on our secure cloud proxy, but everything else — file editing, terminal, preview, indexing — works without connectivity.
No. Your project files stay on your machine at all times. We never upload or store your source code. When you use AI features, only the relevant context is sent to the model provider — and it's never used for training. Cloud deploy is fully opt-in.
